How to Play:
• Choose who is “it” for the first round. With their eyes closed, the person who is “it” counts to 10 to give everyone time to spread out around the pool.
• The "it” person will start yelling out “Marco!” while everyone else that has their head above water must respond back “Polo!”
• The “it” person will try to tag you based on the sound and location of your “Polo!” response.
• “Marco!” can be called as many times as the “it” person wants. If you’re tagged, you’re now “it!”
Helpful Tip: Set a time limit for each round. For example, if the “it” person doesn’t tag anyone within 3 minutes, the round is over. Choose a different person to be “it” for the next round.
2. Aqua Adventure Race
Ready, set, float! This aqua adventure race is simple, but full of laughter and enjoyment. Just grab your favorite pool float or lounge, get on top, and paddle along the sides to race your friends to the opposite side of the pool. The first one who gets to the other side wins.
Depending on how big your pool is and how much space the floats take up, you may need to break up the race into different heats, so everyone has a turn to race. The winner of each heat will face off in the finals – the winner takes all!
Helpful Tip: Only allow racers to move/paddle with their hands, not a water toy or another object that could give them an unfair advantage.
