It’s okay to leave your kayak inflated. Remember to release a small amount of air pressure from each air chamber. This allows room for expansion, preserving the seams to ensure your new kayak lasts.
The right posture is essential. Adjust the seat so you can sit your bum snug against seat in upright position. Adjust your footrest so that your knees are slightly bent.
Holding the paddle correctly will help you navigate the waters efficiently. Follow the steps below to get set up for proper paddling technique.
1. Place both hands on the shaft a bit further than shoulder width apart.
2. Make sure the paddle blades are in line with each other. Offset blades work best in the wind. If blades are offset, make a simple adjustment to one blade.
3. Elbows bent 90 degrees.
4. The long edge of the blade should be on top. Short edge with cut is on bottom.
Please follow below steps or see how to video .
Inflation 1. Connect the pump hose to the hand pump. 2. Rotate the spool of the air valve counterclockwise to close the air valve, and connect the pump hose to the air valve. 3. Move the hand pump handle up and down to inflate the SUP until the barometer on the pump rises to 15 psi. 4. Remove the pump hose from the air valve and close the air valve cap.
Deflation Rotate the spool of the air valve clockwise to open air valve, and the SUP will automatically deflate.
Within your new kayak bundle, you will find a clear ruler that functions as an inflation gauge. Simply place this on the measurement printed on your kayak and inflate to match the clear inflation gauge.
To find the leakage, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure that the SUP is fully inflated.2. Prepare a mixture of liquid soap and water. 3. Start applying the mixture on the air valve.4. Apply the mixture all over the body of the SUP. When you locate the leakage, please send a request to receive assistance.
These accessories are called tracking fins and they are designed to make it easier to go straight. The long fin is best at providing the ability to stay on course. It does require more power to change direction. We recommend using the short fin in choppy waters. If you’re in a shallow river where the fin would ground, we recommend removing the fin.
Starting in 2017, all repair patches included in the sets are underwater adhesive repair patches. All of the ones produced before 2017 were heavy duty repair patches. Using the underwater repair patch is easy, and it is not necessary to drain the water from your pool.
