8 Fun Ways to Use Your Kiddie Pool

When the splashing is done for summer, there are countless ways to use your child’s kiddie pool. From creating stimulating play environments to taking your party hosting to the next level, there’s a use for (almost) every occasion.

1. Just Add Play Balls

The easiest way to mix up your child’s play is to swap out water and add play balls. You can switch from pool to ball pit in minutes and provide fun, indoor play year-round.

2. Swap Out Water for Foam

Fill the pool with foam or soapy water. This creates different textures that will delight your child’s senses and encourage sensory play. Think giant bubble bath but the purpose is not getting clean, it’s just fun!

3. Home Base for Water Balloons

Play and kiddie pools are great places to store water balloons for an epic water balloon fight! The bottom of the pool will protect the balloons from popping, so more water balloons can be used. To prevent the balloons from sticking to each other, add a low level of water to the bottom of the pool before you fill it with balloons.

4. Turn It Into a Water Table
