From lightweight portability to easy setup and installation, inflatable SaluSpa® hot tubs have multiple convenient benefits... including some you might be overlooking. It’s time to debunk some of the most common inflatable spa myths!
Myth #1: Inflatable hot tubs aren’t durable.
Our spas would beg to differ! We make three types of inflatable hot tubs, and each is constructed with durable materials that are built to last. Our traditional inflatable spas are made with a three-layer Tritech® material, proven to prevent puncture and abrasion damage. We also offer an upgraded Tritech hot tub that features MaxHold™ fabric beams. These beams are made of a specially engineered material that fights stretching, providing you with a hot tub that retains air pressure like no other. Finally, our FortiFiber™ drop stitch hot tubs are supported by thousands of interwoven fine threads, making the walls rigid and sturdy more like a hard-sided spa, with the durability and lightness that our traditional inflatable spas offer.

Myth #2: You can’t use your inflatable hot tub all year round.
A SaluSpa can stay up and in use all year long! With our innovative Freeze Shield™ winterizing technology, you can heat the spa up to its maximum temperature (104ºF), even in the colder months.* Once you’re done relaxing, the internal system will maintain its temperatures at just above freezing to prevent damage to the spa parts or liner.
*For best results, we recommend only using your spa when the temperatures outside are above 14ºF.
Myth #3: Inflatable hot tubs are hard to set up and difficult to use.
Whether you have the traditional pump (simply attaches to the matching valves on the side of the tub) or the UltraFit™ tub (built into the liner to offer a space-saving solution), set up is as easy as pressing a button! The multi-function pump does everything – inflates the spa, heats it up to 104ºF, and runs the massage and filtration systems – all through the control panel. Plus, you can lift the panel so that you don’t even need to exit the water to adjust the settings!

Myth #4: Inflatable hot tubs don’t have effective massage systems.
Each of our hot tubs features a massage system that will have you relaxing and unwinding in the comfort of your own home.
In the AirJet™ family of spas, the hot tub will have over 100 openings on the bottom floor that will release heated air bubbles into the water, surrounding you with a warm, relaxing massage. For a more targeted massage, the AirJet Plus™ hot tubs have a specially designed pattern on the bottom so that the bubbles hit your feet and back.
The HydroJet™ hot tubs give you the best of both worlds! They have the same heated bubble massage as our AirJet tubs, along with a few nozzles near the pump that release a soothing jetstream of water. For an upgraded massage, the HydroJet Pro™ spas feature the jetstream nozzles all along the interior of the walls, plus the targeted AirJet Plus bubbles that massage your feet and back.
Myth #5: Water maintenance is difficult and expensive.
With the right tools, water maintenance is as easy as 1-2-3!
1. Test your spa water with chemical test strips.
2. Use chemicals as needed to maintain the balance listed on the bottle.
3. Remove debris from the water surface.
Bestway® is the one-stop shop for your inflatable hot tub needs. With hot tub chemical kits (that even include bromine!) and lightweight cleaning sets, taking care of your spa is simple and straightforward once you establish a maintenance routine.
Now that these myths are busted, it's time to find the inflatable hot tub that’s best for you. SaluSpa offers a wide variety of spa models – with different massage systems, materials, graphic prints, and even smartphone app-control!
