10 Hot Tub-Friendly Recipes to Try

1. Charcuterie Cups

Who doesn’t love a good charcuterie board? While a traditional board isn’t the friendliest snack to balance near the water, a cup makes it a delectable and easy addition to any pool or hot tub party.

Ingredients:

•    Small cups
•    Variety of hard, sliced cheeses
•    Variety of hard meats
•    Accompaniments of choice: olives, chocolates, dried fruits
•    Optional: decorative cocktail toothpicks

Instructions:

1.    In a cup, layer the cheeses and meats around the back of the cup to cover about three-fourths, leaving the front area open.
2.    Fill the front area of the cup with the smaller items such as olives and dried fruit.
3.    Chill cups in the refrigerator and serve.

Ingredients:

•    Fresh strawberries

•    1 Tbsp coconut oil

Instructions:

1.    Melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

5. Mini Cheeseball Appetizers

Cheese and crackers are always a hit at parties, so why not combine them into a convenient, handheld version? With pretzel sticks doubling as the skewer and “cracker,” your hot tub guests will love how easy it is to enjoy their cheese “dip.”

Ingredients:

•    8 ounces cream cheese, softened
•    4-5 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
•    1/2 bunch green onions, chopped

2.    Add in the bacon, green onions, Worcestershire, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
3.    Chop the pecans and place onto a single layer on a cookie sheet.
4.    Using a mini cookie scoop, drop the rounded balls of cream cheese into the pecans, rolling to completely cover.
5.    Place a single pretzel stick into the center of each cheeseball.
6.    Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve - at least a couple of hours to allow the cream cheese to re-harden. Serve with assorted party crackers.
