What is a robotic pool cleaner?
A robotic pool cleaner is a vacuum that is completely autonomous. The self-propelling design provides an easy way to keep your pool water clean all season long, as the vacuum moves across the bottom of the pool on its own. They typically feature a directional jet system that allows the robot to change direction when encountering walls or obstacles, so you can sit back and relax while your pool is restored to its crystal-clear glory. All you have to do is empty the debris compartment when it’s full!

The AquaTronix G200 is controlled with a single power switch and includes built-in sensors that prompt it to begin cleaning when submerged in water and power off when outside of the water, protecting the motor and improving its lifespan. Larger than most competitors, the built-in debris compartment holds up to 0.8 gal. (3.5 L) of debris before it needs to be emptied. Designed with a cordless, rechargeable battery, the AquaTronix G200 will operate for a full 90 minutes when fully charged, the optimal amount of time needed to get your pool crystal clear.
The quick-click buckles on the debris compartment make maintenance and cleaning a breeze - just pop it open and remove the debris. The robot is easy to use, with side and top handles and an included retrieval kit, so it is simple to get it back out of the water.
How do you use an AquaTronix G200?
Getting your AquaTronix G200 up and running is easier than choosing which pool float you’re going to spend the day in. Here’s all you have to do:
1. Charge up the robot.
2. Adjust the wheel direction to your preferred setting. (Check out your manual for more information on this.)
3. Place the robot in the water.
4. Check and empty the debris compartment every once in a while.
To make sure the robot is working to its full potential, there are a few things we recommend before putting it into the water.
• Turn off your filtration system. The nature of the filtration system is to keep the water moving through the filter and back into the pool, but this can cause debris to move around too (and avoid being picked up by the vacuum).
• Remove any toys, floating objects, ladders or anything that could potentially get in your vacuum’s way as it’s cleaning.
• Make sure your pool is set up on flat, level ground without any bumps that could stop the vacuum. Remove any folds in the bottom of your above ground pool liner.
• If you have a saltwater pool, make sure the salt is completely dissolved in the water.
